Give it a go. What matters is what you think of your work. People will always have, as is their right, their own opinions. They're not necessarily always right. So one should listen but most importantly one should stay true to what you believe.

Great new story with a baddie from the Indian sub continent, thought it about time as the other villains in earlier books came from Europe, USA and South Africa. Lots of twists and turns but then that's fairly typical of my style. Think i'm going to call it STARNET.

Doesn't take much. I thoroughly enjoy the process of writing and get really excited when I give first cuts of my work to my wife. She's my fiercest critic and biggest fan - if she like it then there's a good probability that other people will. Writing is fun, the boring old proofing etc less so......!

I like to write stories that I find exciting and entertaining, so when I look for ideas this is what I have foremost in mind. The latest published book A Dragon's Ransom was about the the mafia looking to muscle its way into an established Chinese conglomerate. Inspiration having come at least in part from a recent trip to Hong kong.
