The Corner of Hell and Second Chances is the next book in the Angels Dark and Dumb series. I just finished my detailed outline for it and am starting to write it, I plan to release it on Vella with the other books, so I'll let you know when it starts in a couple months.

I spent a lot of time on the road, driving between Colorado Springs and Denver many years ago. That was my main inspiration for Angels Dark & Dumb, which is the same highway in the book. Lots of crazy people on the roads, so it makes sense that it would be the route to transport evil energy to open the Gates of Hell.

I'm still on a horror comic book kick. The ones I really like are Brzrkr, I Hate Fairyland, Harrow County, and There's Something Wrong with the Children.
