How do you get inspired to write?

C.L. Matthews I'm an emotional/empathetic author. One that derives my work from emotions I'm currently feeling. It's both a curse and a blessing. A curse since I get so worked up and feel everything my characters feel, a blessing because it's raw and absolutely real. It's the emotions flowing through me and onto the pages.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

C.L. Matthews Never, ever give up. When all feels hopeless, it's not. It's only momentary, and all you need to do is push through.
