It wasn't difficult in the sense of accessing the character, since his voice was so clear in my mind. The real challenge was trying to make sure he wouldn't sound like a woman, especially because he does have a lot of qualities that are traditionally attributed to women. I hope I was successful in that feat.

There are a lot of alpha males and virginal females in the Romance/Erotica genre today, and my book is different than what you may usually read. Maybe you feel attracted to a man like Stephen, and identify with Julia. Is that answer enough? :) I'm very glad you enjoyed it so much!
