Attend a writers' conference and fellowship with authors, agents, and other writers who are trying to write a book and publish it. Writers conferences were the key to my learning about the industry.

Creating stories where you're totally in control of the situation. You know what's going to happen, you know how you want the story to end. Do you ever get frustrated when you watch a movie or read a book and you hate the ending. You might think, "I would not have ended the story that way." When you write a book, you don't have the problems since YOU decide how you want your story to play out.

Skip ahead to another section of the book - a future scene I want to write. After I write that scene, I might be able to go back and fill in the blanks from when I developed the writers' block. Also, go back and look more into developing my characters - well-developed characters are key to writing an enticing romance.
