A Dragonfly's Dream was based on my own dream journal. The dreams in the book were my actual dreams of a guy who I used to like in high school. I decided to weave a story around it and turned it into a novel.
I usually get my ideas from real life. I think most works of fiction are not fiction at all, but are bits of reality disguised as fiction.
