Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kelly Long The Amish Bride of Ice Mountain was inspired by my Dad--who took me to the Ice Mine many times as a kid and who drove me there one last time before he passed away....I miss him greatly and the novel is dedicated to him...

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kelly Long I think writing is like surgery--do it once and right. If you hit a block, look closer at the body of work--it should be fascinating enough to trigger a response in writing.
