Chad Hunter I grew up on classic horror and the Monster Man built himself from there. It's part hommage to those films and actors and it's part brand new revisit to ageless characters and concepts. I invite you all to check it out!
Chad Hunter Keep going. Write. Listen to your gut. Find that balance between answering your creativity's call and sleeping and living. Figure out what your goal is (e.g. publishing, blogging, etc.) and go get it. Also keep yourself surrounded by people who build you up; people who help nurish your dreams and purpose.
Chad Hunter I tend to push through it. I keep writing even if I may delete it about an hour later. I keep a lot of muses around - little items that help me stay in the mindset of what I'm writing. For example, for "The Monster Man - King of Fools," I found Universal Horror action figures and kept them by my desk. For my current project - a fantasy, horror pirate novel - I have pirate items from a nearby party store.
Chad Hunter Creating, I think. That is definitely one of the best things. Be able to weave words into worlds, people, places and experiences. Being able to connect with readers from all walks of life and places just by putting words in orders that create something.
