Hi Erin! I did have plans for Shay and Trigg's book, I even started it. But other things came up and I didn't think there was as much interest in their story. Sometimes I do think about their story and get the itch to finish, and you are right, their story is going to be just as complicated as Lacey and Landon’s. So to answer your question :) hopefully, one day soon I’ll get back to finishing their story. I want to. But First I have two stories I need to release this year and three more I plan to write. Thanks for the question, Erin. I hope you enjoy The Imperfections Series! They have a special place in my heart because those were the first books I wrote. :)

I have a few couples I really like. One of my favorites in contemporary romance would be Gavin and Emily from Collide by Gail McHugh. This story had everything I like to read! A forbidden romance, it was sexy, it had drama. It was a good read.❤

It actually came to me when I couldn't find the exact type of book I wanted to read in that type of situation. The first thing I saw in my mind was my heroin crying on the floor with her head down on her knees and her brother consoling her. I already knew why she was crying and I wanted to know how this complicated situation and relationships between family and friends would workout.

It could be anything that evokes an emotion in me but it's mainly music that inspires me. Some people need silence to concentrate, not me. I need music to drown out the white noise; for every emotion I need to write there's a song to help heighten the emotion I need at the time.

Right now I'm working on publishing and marketing my book, Imperfections will be available on Amazon and other retailers Feburary 28,2015. After that I'll be editing Imperfections(Come To Light) coming September 13, 2015.

You hear this all the time but it's true, the best thing you can do as a aspiring writer is write. What the hell is an aspiring writer anyway? I believe as long as you can write and you have something to say that means something to you, your a writer.

When someone is reading your work and they get it, they understand and can sympathize with your characters. To be able to stir feeling and emotions in people who you have not met and have no connection to but reading your words touches something in them. That's the best thing to me about being a writer.

I don't stress about it, I step away from my own writing and read someone else's work to inspire me or I'll go over my writing and edit. I distance myself from my work and relax, listen to music, go out and maybe something will catch my attention and the words will come. I've learned the harder I push when the words just won't come the worst it gets.
