I am so excited to say that I am working on a YA Fantasy. I know there are a lot of those, but I've actually had this particular work in mind for about five years! Fingers crossed something comes of it.

Life inspires me to write. Everything around me. People, places, things, movies, but above all music. In all honestly, the inmates (characters in my head) are always trying to take over. It's like constant background music that plays on an endless loop. When I see, hear or experience something unique to one of those characters, they get louder and more persistent. I'm not crazy, I promise.:)

I love performing arts books and movies. I like reading/watching about the passion and drive it takes to live in that world.

So this is what I did. Pretty Dancer is about a girls drive and passion to become the best contemporary ballet dancer she can be and get accepted in the performing arts school of her dreams. Her ultimate dream is to dance on stage at a professional level. Along the way she experiences heartache, love and passion in various forms.
