Mark Rice Many.

The Fire from Within by Carlos Castaneda, for some, like, mind-expanding metaphysical epiphanies, maaaaaaaaaaaan.

Deadman's Tome Campfire Tales Book Two compiled and edited by Amy Grech. It contains a Richard Van Holst short story and I love his work.

2113 - Stories Inspired by the Music of Rush. Neil Peart was one of the best lyricists in the business. I'm eager to see what kind of visions his words put into the minds of other writers.

Wolves Who Were Men - The History of Moonspell by Ricardo S. Amorim. Equal-best metal band in the Universe. Of course I'm going to read their autobiography.

A Reader's Manifesto by B.R. Myers, because I hear from sources I trust that it's incisively observant and hilarious in equal parts.

The Triumph of the Moon - A History of Modern Pagan Witchcraft by Ronald Hutton. No explanation necessary. I mean, it's witchcraft...the pagan kind. What's not to love?

A (very) advance pre-publication edition of Brothers by Jan Thorne-Foley.

Witcraft by Jonathan Rée. I received an advance reader's copy a couple of months ago.

Re-Minder by Dennis Waterman, because Minder was the greatest thing on TV and Dennis's character Terry McCann was the business.

Summer Magic - The Complete Journal of Luke Kirby by McKenzie, Ridgway and Parkhouse. Right up there with Sláine and ABC Warriors as the most beautifully drawn and innovatively plotted 2000 AD graphic story.

Access All Areas by Scott Ian, because Anthrax is the second-best thrash band of all time and Scott's a fantastic storyteller. (Best thrash band, in case you're wondering, is Kreator.)

I'm the Man - The Story of That Guy from Anthrax by Scott Ian. For the same reasons.

Spell It Out by David Crystal, because I'm a sucker for word-etymology books.

Make Mead Like a Viking by Jereme Zimmerman. Having tried and enjoyed many meads, including one "magic mead" from Germany and a hallucinogenic wormwood mead from Denmark, I figure it's time I start making the stuff myself. There goes the neighbourhood.

Thermopylae by Chris Carey. I received an advance reader's copy in hardback format a couple of months ago.

Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell. I received an advance reader's copy a few months ago.

Food or War by Julian Cribb. I received an advance reader's copy.

Process - The Writing Lives of Great Authors by Sarah Stodola. I love reading about the work habits, idiosyncrasies and routines of other writers. There's such variation.

Mother of the Drackan - Gyenona's Children Book Two by Kathrin Hutson. I read book one when it first came out. Loved it. I've had this sequel in paperback since it was released. This summer I'm setting time aside to read it.

Behind Blue Eyes Part Two - Love Ain't for Keeping and Behind Blue Eyes Part Three - Let My Love Open the Door by Anne-Marie Klein. I read part one and enjoyed it. Anne-Marie is a gifted storyteller whose writing includes an abundance of inadvertent euphemisms. Half the fun is spotting them.

A Telling of Stones by Neil Rackham. I started reading this hardback yesterday. Bought it a few months ago on the Isle of Lewis, my ancestral home, where the entire book is set...way back in the mists of time. Enjoying it. So far so good.
