The Seafarer's Kiss was always intended as a duology, with one book from Ersel's perspective and one from Ragna's! So the series is finished :)

Hi Taylor! Thank you so much! There isn't currently a third book planned, but I never say never! :)

Hi Doris!
I was born in Chicago, but I actually lived a lot of my childhood outside of London. I've now lived in the UK for an equal number of years as the US. I was 10 when we first moved, so I don't really remember the adjustment period. I'm also a dual citizen. I do really love living in Scotland though! It has beautiful countryside and castles. It's also much more socially progressive than where I grew up in the US, which I love. Edinburgh is very multi-cultural and queer friendly in a way the suburban town I was born in was not. Plus, it has a national health service. I definitely recommend it as a place to live.

Hi Kayla! I think it's very difficult for writers to pinpoint exactly what makes them unique. I've been told that my style is very lyrical/poetic -- and I'll take that! I also try to create characters with complicated motivations, who are neither good or bad.

Hi Sara! All of my books are available in paperback via online retailers such as Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, Wordery, Blackwells etc. In the case of The Seafarer's Kiss, it is also available via many independent bookstores worldwide. I hope you're able to find a copy! Happy reading!

Don't give up on yourself but at the same time, know when it's time to give up on a particular project. You're a writer and you have lots of great stories inside you, but sometimes you have to let a manuscript go to write one that works!

I've always been the type of writer who writes in bursts. I'll get an idea for a project, and then it's like I'm possessed. I just write and write until I have a draft, putting all the ideas I have into it. However, when I don't have an idea for a project, I kind of just have to wait until inspiration strikes again! Usually that means I need to travel.
