Adele Clee I'm glad you've enjoyed the series, Agnes. No, I didn't write Dudley and Charlotte's story. But thank you for reminding me. I was thinking about writing a novella length story that I worked on while writing my current series. This might be the perfect one. Xx
Adele Clee Hi
For the best reading experience, I suggest reading each series as listed below and in the order the books were written.

1. Scandalous Sons - definitely The Mystery of Mr Daventry
2. Gentlemen of the Order
3. Ladies of the Order
4. Scandal Sheet Survivors.

**Mr Daventry has a role in every book that follows his own story.

Lost Ladies, Avenging Lords, The Brotherhood, Anything for love begin at book 1 but the series' are not connected.

To Save a Sinner, What Every Lord Wants, The Secret to your Surrender and A Simple Case of Seduction are best read in this specific order.

I hope this helps. Thank you for asking. As soon as I get chance, I shall make a pdf and add it as a clickable link in my author bio.
Adele Clee Hi Kathleen,
Mr Daventry has his own story - The Mystery of Mr Daventry - which is part of the Scandalous Sons series. He becomes the master of the Order, and the next series - Gentlemen of the Order - is about the men who work for him. Ladies of the Order is Lucius Daventry’s new project. They are all stand-alone books but reading them in the order mentioned would enhance the experience.

I will add something to my website and Amazon Author page to help readers decide where to start. All other series’ have no crossover characters. I have books not in a series, a novice mistake, that are connected and I have listed the reading order below.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
I hope you enjoy the stories.

To Save a Sinner
What Every Lord Wants
The Secret to your Surrender
A Simple Case of Seduction.
Adele Clee Hi Bridget,
The Devereaux Affair is already on pre-order and is out on 28th June. Yes, Mr Daventry does some sneaky manoeuvring in this book to ensure Julianna and Bennet have every chance of finding their HEA. xx
Adele Clee Hi Joann,
Thank you! x
Yes, the gentlemen will lend a helping hand when it's needed. Mr Daventry will feature throughout as well. He's quite protective of his ladies, though one wonders if he's a secret matchmaker.
Adele Clee Hi Joann,
Yes, Dark Angel will be released in paperback on 22nd March 2021. Amazon don't allow preorders for paperbacks which is why it's not available on the sales page. I'm glad you're enjoying the series.
Adele Clee Hi Susan,
Can you message me via the contact form on my website - www.adeleclee.com
Thanks,

Adele Clee Three years ago, I felt exactly the same as you do. Here is what I would tell myself if I could go back.

Focus on telling the best story you can. Work on your craft and forget about the bigger picture. Read. Read more. Make notes on why you FEEL something when you read a book.

When you’ve finished your story, it’s not finished. Edit. Edit. Edit. Read about editing. Listen to your story. Use a computer to read it back to you or read it aloud.

Negative thoughts will enter your head. Learn to ignore them.

Don't let fear beat you.

This is the best time to be a writer ... your options are endless, not limited.

Negativity kills your creativity. My best ideas come when I’m walking or when it’s quiet and I’m alone with my thoughts.

When you come to a point in your story and you’re stuck … don’t surf the internet or eat cake. Move to the next paragraph or chapter. You can always go back and fix what’s wrong. But don’t sit waiting for inspiration as it doesn’t always come.

Read The Successful Author Mindset by Joanna Penn … know that you’re not alone.

Set small goals that are achievable – 250 words a day soon mount up.

Concentrate on finishing your story. Nothing else matters. You cannot market and sell a book that isn’t finished.

Hope this helps.

Adele Clee Thank you. I've added a condensed version to my website and Amazon and have added a link to you blog. Thanks for taking the time to review.
Adele Clee I am currently working on a Regency historical romance with a paranormal twist. The first book in this series is called Lost to the Night (The Brotherhood) and there'll be three books in total. Lost to the Night is released in December 2015, but the first two chapters are available to read at the end of What You Desire. Members who sign up for my newsletter via my website will get to read the preview before the release date.
