Well, if you're asking if I would like to be a part of a book story...I instantly go back to my favorite childhood series "Animorphs." I would love to be a character in their group and be able to morph into animals and go on adventures defeating the yeerks!

I want to finish the entire collection of C.S. Lewis books including his nonfiction and fiction works. There are more Joyce Meyer and T.D. Jakes books I haven't read yet. And I've gotten into biographies now, so I might go to the bookstore and check out some works by celebrities I know and watch on TV/movies.

Sorry for taking a while to get back to you, but I did want to address your question. I understand where you are coming from. The Old Testament in the Bible is filled with wars, stonings, murders, adultery and then some! Whew! And fast forward to modern day where we have mass shootings and terrorism. It's enough to wonder about God's love, for sure! I can also understand where you are coming from about the people who say they believe in God, yet their actions are far from "heavenly." I think what helps me when it comes to God's word and his character is looking to the New Testament - kind of a turn around in God's heart - when he talk about Him being gracious and compassionate, slow to anger , rich in love (Psalm 145: 8), His peace through hard times ( Isaiah 54:10), and His faithfulness to us and his protection around us (2 Thessalonians 3:3). That always helps me to remember that there is good even in the bad. As far as God's people, I cannot control what other people do, but for someone who is a follower of the Christian faith, I will promise you that I will try to represent God's love the best I can in a way that represents my faith honorably. I'm not very good at debating nor do I want to strike up any conflict. I just wanted to address your question the best I know how. I do appreciate you asking a question on my goodreads page and I hope we can continue to be 'goodreads' friends :) - Sunshine

Sunshine, I love how you answered this question. It can be hard to explain any religious concept because religion does rely a lot on the faith of the people. I heard a pastor explain much like you did that there was a shift after the old testament that Jesus' sacrifice allowed to happen. That Jesus loved us as our human selves (the good and the bad) so much that he was willing to be sacrificed to change that wrath to love. I would say that is not loathsome, though like you said the God of the old testament did display wrath, but he always loved his people. You answered this question with such grace!

Sometimes I do not feel inspired to write, but I would only have an hour blocked out in that day to write. So I would force myself, if you will, to make inspiration to come out. I would just start writing to continue my book and though it fells awkward, soon the ideas start to form and the pages write themselves. Just. Start. Writing.

I wrote my first book on the inspiration of my relationship with Christ. I drew from what I know and then researched all the scriptures I could to complete the facts. I used journal entries and even real life testimonials of others who are close to the Lord. I want everyone who reads it to know the intimate relationship they too can have with their Heavenly Family.

I think the best thing about being a writer is putting down on paper what needs to come out of my imagination. There are stories, characters and ideas racing around in my head and what I love is that I can make those scenarios real by placing them on paper for all to see and read. Now, what was once in my imagination is now placed in your imagination as you read and engage in my writing! I am sharing my world to yours!

How I deal with writer's block is to step away and put down the manuscript that I am writing. I may even leave it alone for weeks. I don't want to just continue writing about *nothing* of importance, so I will wait and sometimes wait some more until I know where I should be heading next in my story!

I would encourage all writers to be diligent with their craft! Constantly be thinking about your writing, your characters, your plot lines and story. Draw from real life inspiration and even use characters from people you know (its your little secret!). Start to write, do not be judgmental or critical about your work and just put the pen to paper or hands to keyboard and let your imagination fly! Some people like to know their storyline and character development beforehand; some like to just write as they go. No matter your style and no matter your "plan" or lack thereof, just write, do what you do best and be sure to get all that ideas on paper before they disappear from your mind! - Sunshine Rodgers

My newest book will be a graphic novel about an angel answering a little boy's prayers and encountering some demonic resistance in the process. My illustrator is Hector Acosta and it is published by Xulon Press. It will be launched the beginning of next year! -Sunshine Rodgers
