Emem Uko It was a rainy day but the sky was still beautiful and blue. As I walked home, I saw a puddle and when I looked in it, the reflection wasn't mine.
Emem Uko I'd travel to Middle-earth. I'll probably be an elf because there's no way I'll be a hobbit with my height. I'll be a painter.
Emem Uko I've been into memoirs this year and I plan to read about more notable people. Among my summer reading list are:
The Memoirs of Cleopatra; On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King; and The Audacity of Hope.
Emem Uko Well, it is a mystery to me how I endured and survived a near-fatal injury as a baby of only eight days old. That concurrence has proven to me the strength and will to live that babies possess. Based on that experience and all the unfortunate things happening in the world right now, I could plot a book about a baby trapped underneath a rubble after an explosion and the persistence of the people trying to find and dig out the baby in the midst of danger and commotion. Mind you, they'll have no clue if the baby is alive.
Emem Uko I'm working on two books right now. I'll announce their titles soon.
Emem Uko I get inspired to write by observing any and everything.
