Julie Watson I have many books sitting on my kindle waiting for me to read them. I particularly like memoirs or true life stories. I read mainly indie authors, as I like to support their work.
Julie Watson Where will my next midwifery adventure be so I can write about? What wonderful part of the world?
Julie Watson Publishme in New Plymouth. Adrian did it. Can't remember his last name.
I wrote it as I needed to tell my story. Last bit of healing for me. I hope you enjoy my story. I haven't written any other books. Glad it arrived safely. We are just on our way home now. Sitting having a coffee at Heathrow airport.

Julie Watson My book 'Born for Life : A Midwife's Story' is my story so I wrote it from my experiences in life.
Julie Watson I was inspired to write because I had a very personal story to tell. I was inspired to write my story down for two reasons. To help me by getting my story out there as I had a passion to do so. Also to inspire others who may have also had challenges and trauma in their life. My story will hopefully encourage others to never give up hope and to follow their dreams.
Julie Watson I am still currently promoting my first book but I have started another book about working as a midwife in another country. It's in the very early stages though and waiting for more inspiration.
Julie Watson If you want to write and you have a story to tell. Start. That is the hard part and don't give up. It might take time. It took three years to write my first book but worth it in the end. It's not easy though and you will have a lot of changes and obstacles to overcome.
Julie Watson You can express yourself and share yourself when you write. It's like therapy but cheaper :)
Julie Watson I go and have a walk or go to the gym and just wait until I get inspired again. I find to continue and try to write is like pulling teeth so better to take a break until the writing flows. You write a lot more creatively then as well.
