I've picked up several books from goodwill and thrift stores this year that I haven't read before. I tend to not do that, but I've decided to branch out and try new things! The main one I'm looking forward to reading is the first in the Pegasus Books by Kate O'Hearn. I mean, any story involving a girl who gets to keep a flying horse is okay in my book! I also have The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova, The Time Travelers by Linda Buckley-Archer, World War Z by Max Brooks, Cinder by Marissa Meyer, The Maze Runner by James Dashner, and several others!

Several separate people have told me that vampires exist, people who did not know each other. Of course, I don't believe it (50% don't believe it), but it's interesting to see that different people believe the same thing. It makes me feel like a heroine in a novel where there was a prophecy about me becoming a vampire so people slowly introduced me to the idea, even to the point of influencing my dreams and giving me the inspiration for a vampire novel! It would be a fun story lol

I really had to think about my answer!! It's not that I don't like any literary couples, I just never thought about it.
I suppose my favorite couple is Chloe and Derek from "The Darkest Powers" series by Kelley Armstrong. Chloe is a lot like me, I like to think, and Derek is very close to my ideal man. He's always there to help her through her powers and she with his. They're just so sweet and awesome, I love reading about them!

I try to watch tv or read like I normally do, sometimes I work through the part for days in my head before I finally get inspiration and have to go write immediately. If that doesn't work, I push through what I'm stuck on, even if it means deleting everything I just did, I get a feel for what's missing.

Creating characters is always the best part. Its meeting new people and getting to know them. Sure, they aren't technically real, but putting them on paper gives them life.

Before you even start writing, make sure its really what you want. Only determination to get your dream will keep you from giving up. And don't listen to people who say you're not serious about it. Its a real career, just like any other job.

I got the idea for "Aero" when I first saw the movie "Handcock". I thought, what would it be like if there was a female superhero that was perpetually single because of her super strength? Obviously, the concept changed and became something else, but that's where I got the idea!
