Gisele R. Walko So many books! I plan to read one story a day from Stephen King's the Bazaar of Bad Dreams, The Hate U Give, when my daughter finishes with it. Lots more romance, mostly interacial, and the books my friends are writing. And I hope to release two books by the end of August. I'll read them until my own words sicken me. :)
Gisele R. Walko What happens to my socks? I think my house has a portal in it somewhere.
Gisele R. Walko It's going good. My Travis and Legend story got longer than I thought it would be, but I'll be wrapping it up soon. I have Noah and Ko's story on Wattpad, and I will add another chapter to that. I'd also like to write a 90s IR about Ethan and Michelle, Noah and Novas parents. I'm excited about that one, but I don't want to have too many projects going on.
Gisele R. Walko The Thunder! All the way! I'm an Okie. I'm rooting for the home team ;) Thanks for your question Monique! I hope both our teams do well (but that my team wins of course).
Gisele R. Walko Hi Mary! I know. I thought it was cool that we're both in Oklahoma. Thanks for friending me. I am working on book 3 of my Multiracial Monsters series. It follows Noah, the twin of my character Nova in my Vampire/Necromancer book, and his girlfriend (and his sister's nemesis, Ko) Drama! Also I'm focusing right now on an Interracial Romance about two college students.
Thanks for your question and support. I liked the Go, go, go cheer.
Gisele R. Walko Michael Hey! Thanks for the great question. The paranormal books I write are magic-realism, so my demi-god character would probably have insecurities because they are not as powerful as the parent that was the god, or they would be completely narcissistic because they had some god-like powers and none of their peers did, and they would alienate everyone. As far as a plot......he probably falls for a sexy vampire, but realizes he should be with his best friend that shapeshifts into a squirrel.
Gisele R. Walko Hi Samantha! Thanks for your question. Can they get together? I'm all about interspecies love. My son says Demi-god.
Gisele R. Walko Hey Chris!
Good Question. I'm not sure if there's a set length. Mine also happen to be YA. My goal for both was 75,000. Wolf Girl finds necRomance was just over that. The Vampire and the Necromancer was about 90,000 words. Good luck with your writing!
Gisele R. Walko I don't really know. Music, movies, books, my husband or children telling me something funny.
Gisele R. Walko I honestly don't know. It just came to me.
Gisele R. Walko I have very rough drafts of books two and three of the multi-racial monsters series; Fairy Girl finds love in Dreamland and The Vampire and the Necromancer, a love story re-mix (out of sequence). All three books run parallel to each other so they can be read in any order. After that I hope to write an anthology.
Gisele R. Walko Write because you love to write and want to share your work.
Gisele R. Walko Putting my imagination to use, and researching, and making my own hours.
Gisele R. Walko Drink a cup of tea, try to clear my mind, talk over possibilities with family. Just walk away for awhile.
