Really liked 'Memory Catedral'. My edition does not tell me anything about your other writings and your education. Would you like to share this?
Jack Dann Hi, Lucinda. Thanks for your question. I've written or edited over 75 books. Although my website is under construction, you can check jackdann.com for some information. I've got a new novel set in the Renaissance due out in November called Shadows in the Stone, which you can preorder at:

Oh, and I recently earned a PhD from the University of Queensland, where I'm currently an Adjunct Senior Fellow.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Jack Dann Thinking about the story and characters...sort of like a waking dream. And then...writing!

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Jack Dann Writer's block is a signal that you need to 'fill up the tank', so I read whatever is of interest, go to movies, walk around, relax, until I start to hear my characters whispering once again in my head.

Hi. Most writers say they are too busy to read much but you've edited a whole series of anthologies (Magic Tales). How do you find the stories? Reading and selecting what to read would've been a huge task. Seaserpents introduced me to John Collier -thanks for that!
Jack Dann If it's an original anthology, I solicit stories from authors. If it's reprint, well, it's a question of reading what's out there...something I've been doing for a long time. Cheers, and thanks for your query. --JACK
