Hi! Not sure if it's still possible to adress a question to you here on Goodreads, but am trying it anyway. I actually have two questions. Hope you don't mind? My first is if there is any chance of you writing a book about the amazing Nadia in Bears behaving badly? And second, will there be a second time traveler book to Tudor time? Hi Mary, my question is this; why can't I find anymore paperback Undead series with "Betsy the vampire queen" after the 10 book? Only hard covers? I have read all of them and bought only the paperbacks because I like the cartoon character on them and they are easier to hold and read. I also like to have all my books the same.

MaryJanice Davidson I have no idea! Paperback editions of books 11-14 are out there. Here's a link to my Amazon page. I loved the cartoon covers, too, and was bummed when my publisher changed them.

I'm rereading the Undead series again (at least the 3rd time) and I came upon a question. In, I believe, UNDEAD AND UNWED Betsys fathers name is Darren. However, in UNDEAD AND UNRETURNABLE his name is listed as John in the birth announcement. What is his name?

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

MaryJanice Davidson Some of them are books from my winter reading list that I never got around to. I'm pretty eclectic, so "Bakeless Sweets" and "The Time Traveller's Guide to Restoration Britain" are on the same list, along with Razor Girl (by Carl Hiaason) and The Food Lab. I'm also looking forward to Neil Gaiman's "Norse Mythology" and the new Philippa Gregory, "The Last Tudor".

I friggin' love to read. :-)

hi . i really love the Undead Series. I am looking for #1 book in the Wyndham Series and i cant find the name of it anywhere . May i ask what it is called please? Thanks .

MaryJanice Davidson Sure, it's called LOVE'S PRISONER and it's in Secrets, Volume 6. You can order it on amazon or Barenes and Noble.com, your local bookstore can order it, or you can get it directly from the publisher, Red Sage Publications. Hope this helps!

Hi Ms. Davidson. I just discovered your Undead series and so far (Im at book 8) I'm really liking them although Besty can be a bit much sometimes. Lol. But my question is I noticed you just wrapped up the Undead series with book 15 and wanted to know what your currently working on? Thanks

MaryJanice Davidson I agree, Betsy can definitely be a bit much! But I'm glad you're enjoying the series so far. Right now I'm working on a new book in my reincarnation trilogy, DEJA NEW, as well as my time travel book, A CONTEMPORARY SMARTASS AT THE COURT OF HENRY VIII. Needless to say, I'm having fun!

MaryJanice Davidson Sorry, Carrie, I've got no plans to revisit Ireland and the gang anytime soon. But my whole backlist is on my FB page, and I've written dozens of stories and books about various paranormal characters (mermaids, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, etc.). MaryJanice Davidson I think she would be ecstatic, but also a little horrified. I mean, it's beautiful, but it does also seem to be The Shoe of Death.

How does 'Undead and Underwater fit in with your Fred the Mermaid series? I know it's 11.5 in the Undead series, but how does it overlap? Thank you.

MaryJanice Davidson U&Underwater takes place between UNDEAD AND UNSTABLE and UNDEAD AND UNSURE. Hope that helps!

How would have Betsy's life played out without the prophecy? Would she have inevitably met Sinclair seeing as he's her soulmate?

MaryJanice Davidson No, I don't think so. If he'd ever crossed her path when she was a human, he probably would have found her amusing for a while, then forgotten her. So thank goodness she got run over by that Aztec, huh? :-)

What's your favorite shoe brand?

MaryJanice Davidson Honestly? Whatever's on sale and feels great. I love DSW (Discount Shoe Warehouse) and even after years of making a nice living (thanks to my readers!) I still feel weird dropping $300 for a pair of designer shoes. Beverly Feldmans are probably my favorite; you feel like you're getting a lot for your money (so many different fun designs and styles!). It's possible to drop $500 on a pair of Christian Loubouton black kitten heels and you've got...black kitten heels. Beautiful black kitten heels, but still: what did your $500 pay for, exactly? (I know: this is all Betsy blasphemy.)
