The book I just released this week is called POETIC REFLECTIONS: THE QUEEN OF HATS. It's Volume Two in a series based on my humorous-slash-dark-slash-serious poetry column. Thirteen columns frame the chapters with prose introductions and verse according to the theme. Then I add a little more prose and a number of new poems for each chapter's theme. The print edition also features my own illustrations. It's a very fun book, one I hope people read over and over.

I would have to say being read, because to me that is the greatest compliment and evokes my own relationship with books and stories and poems from an early age. Literature was always such an integral part of my life, and I was much enriched by reading. To be on the other end of that as a writer is a wonderful feeling.

I'm finishing my second volume of humorous and dark poetry, POETIC REFLECTIONS: THE QUEEN OF HATS. It will be out later this month. I'm also wrapping up my next horror collection, ODDS AND ENDS, for a September release.
