KINGDOM OF THE WICKED tells Emilia and Wrath's love story from her POV and those are a series of three books. HOWEVER... The next three books, starting with THRONE OF THE FALLEN, are all set in the KOTW world and are told from each demon prince's point of view (plus their love interest) and are standalone ADULT novels. (They're now adult titles because the prince's are definitely not teens and these stories are from their POVs.) The first announced prince is Envy, then the second and third book will feature two more princes. More info about the next books to be released when I can! THRONE OF THE FALLEN releases this year though and is up online. xoxo

usually whichever book is the one i've most recently written, but honestly, CAPTURING THE DEVIL is my favorite because it takes qualities i love from the others and dials it up. i am wildly in love with this conclusion and it's by far my favorite one yet!

H.H. Holmes was known as "The White City Devil" and since this book features him as the villain, I wanted a title that played off of his infamous nickname.

the title is CAPTURING THE DEVIL and it releases on 9/26/19. cover reveal and synopsis are coming early in the new year! :)

i get this request often and i think he would be a fun character to write a story or novella about! i'd especially enjoy sharing more of his history and all the secrets he didn't reveal in EFH. he's got QUITE a colorful backstory :)

i'm sorry about the melancholy, but i'm thrilled you loved HPD!

i honestly don't know. i tried adding it multiple times in the beginning and it kept getting taken down.

(view spoiler)[If you were Audrey Rose, would you prefer Thomas or Mephistopheles? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Thomas, naturally! while she was intrigued by the idea of living a lifestyle with no rules, and exploring her love of engineering, there was never any true competition for her heart. Audrey’s main dilemma was and always will be what life she wants, not who she wants to share it with. now, me, on the other hand, i wouldn't mind uncovering more of Mephistopheles's secrets :) (hide spoiler)]

never stop writing or reading, always strive to learn and grow and work on your craft, and know that rejections are simply stepping stones on the road to publication. find your authentic voice and write what's close to your heart--don't worry about trends, but know where your work will fit into the market. everyone i know who is published kept writing more books, learning with each one until they got their "yes!" good luck! :)

i'll be announcing it before the end of this month on my social media :)

Yes! Book two has already been written and through its first round of edits. SJTR was the first in a series of gothic mysteries/thrillers. Book two begins one week after the events of SJTR end and starts a new murder investigation for them to solve.

Hi Irene! At this time, book two is slated to be published in the fall of 2017. I'll post updates on my blog and twitter for title and cover reveal, and fun stuff :D

Oh yes! I started writing with the intent to publish back in 2009/2010 and signed with my agent in 2012. We went out with two other projects before I wrote SJTR, and we came very, very close to selling those works. The thing I’ve learned is that even when an editor falls in love with your project, sometimes they don’t get to snatch it up for in-house reasons. SJTR was a little different—a couple weeks after we went out on submission, my agent called over a holiday weekend to let me know an offer might be heading our way. The next day it happened! Moral of the story? Never give up. If I had stopped after any of those previous doors had slammed in my face, then we wouldn’t have kept knocking until this one opened. I like looking at rejections as stepping stones to success. If you’re getting rejected that simply means you’re trying and learning and growing. And that will always be badass.
