Aaron Lauritsen Only in small bits and pieces because readers have suggested it to me. But I'm looking forward to reading the book at some point in the near future, just as soon as I get a chance, there never seems to be enough time in the day to tackle every book I'd like to read, my list of new works grows by the day.
Aaron Lauritsen Yes 2017 is the goal for the next book release, which will be profiles of service people and will correspond with Canada's 150th birthday celebrations. After that I would like to return to travel writing. My dream is to build a series of books called '100 Days'. They will be like the one you have in that throughout the journey I will attempt to paint the ever changing landscapes I encounter, while I also immerse myself in local culture, chase its history, seek adventures and incorporate snippets of my own past.

The only difference is that the location and the means of transit for those books will change. So for example the next book might be called ‘100 Days Trek’ and be about experiences gained walking across a country or continent, or ‘100 Days Cycle’ and be about a bicycle tour of one hundred days duration. So all very exciting stuff, and I have lots of ideas of adventures to come, but first I need to have success with this one so I can keep living my writing dream!

To that end, if you have any questions throughout please don't hesitate to ask. Also I have posted several dozen pictures of the journey on Facebook and on Instagram that weren't included in the book, so if you’d like you can see those at https://www.facebook.com/100daysdrive and https://www.instagram.com/100daysdrive/ respectively.

Thank you for the question Connie and I hope you enjoy the read!
Aaron Lauritsen I enjoy writing, so I'm very regimen and really don't need much motivation to get going each day, in fact sometimes I get frustrated if I’m not able to do that. That said, my inspiration usually comes from the everyday interactions I have while out and about, but without question always at inopportune times. It's a case of ‘murphy's law’ I guess that I’m usually flooded by creative inspiration when I’m out with friends or on long runs to clear my head. My suggestion to anyone working on a book would be to keep a notepad close! Write down your thoughts in point form as they pop in your head so you can explore them later, because all to often thoughts are fleeting and easily lost.
Aaron Lauritsen Currently I'm busy promoting '100 Days Drive', but also in the works is a slight detour from the next travelogue in that I'm planning a book about service people in anticipation of Canada's 150th birthday celebrations in 2017. The book will profile the careers of service people and will likely feature three individuals from the military and three from the civilian first responder sector. Its an exciting opportunity for me to put a spotlight on those heroes who serve our grateful nation before I take on my next big '100 Day' travel adventure.
