How do you get inspired to write?
Aliyyah Eniath For me, writing is necessary. The inspiration is inbuilt.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Aliyyah Eniath I was speaking with someone who told me it was against my faith to adopt a child. I thought that was the silliest thing I've ever heard. Then, I started to write about an adopted boy brought to live with a devout Muslim family, and the consequences that ensued.
