First, thanks so much for reading LS&OL! I don't envision a sequel, because I think Vee & Cam are pretty wrapped up, but I'd LOVE to write a story for Logan someday!

I get ideas from all over the place...I have an email folder, and a note in my phone, where I save little stories I see on the internet, in the newspaper, lyrics from songs that jog something for me. But if I need inspiration for a writing session itself, music is usually what I need! I tend to have a specific playlist for whatever I'm working on. Especially if there is more than one thing I'm working on at once, those playlists can be there perfect way to get me in the right headspace for what I'm working on!

Not very well? Just kidding. Sort of. Writer's block is the worst, but usually getting out of it is a three part process that includes:
1. Making a new playlist that makes me 'feel' like the story I'm writing. Music is huge for me while writing, so sometimes this alone can do the trick!
2. Reading, reading, reading. Both stories that have something in common with whatever I'm writing, AND some mindless, fun, god-I-love-to-read books that I can just devour
3. Taking a breather (the reader sometimes serves this purpose). If I'm stuck, it's usually because I'm putting too much pressure on myself. If I take a little break I remember how much I love to write, and it kicks me out of the funk. I've just found I'm not the kind of person that can go at 150% all the time...I need little breaks to re-charge, and then I can come back at it 200%
