Lisa Rosinsky I've always wanted an older sibling. When I was in middle school, I invented one. I told all my friends I had an older brother named Steve, who had purple hair and was in the Peace Corps. Lisa Rosinsky If I'm in first-draft mode, I read what I wrote the previous day, and that usually gets me started on fiddling and revising and, eventually, writing again. If I've been stuck for a while, I reread something I've written that I'm proud of, which reminds me that I have written stuff I like in the past, and the part of my brain that made it is still there.
