Ritu Bhathal If I need to, I take a little time away. I read other peoples words. They always get my creative juices flowing. Or I take part in a writing challenge, write something totally apart from my work. IT allows my brain to have a refresh, and usually I can come back with more energy and oomph to write.
Ritu Bhathal Never stop writing. Things may not be great at the beginning but to become a writer, you have to start somewhere, and writing regularly will allow you to practice, and get better.
Ritu Bhathal You can put your feelings into words. It's a therapy of sorts.
Also, the idea that you can transport your readers to another world - that thought is fantastic!
Ritu Bhathal I have finished a manuscript - my first full length novel. It has been 18 years in the writing, and I hope to have it ready for publishing by the end of the year. The hope is there anyway.
Ritu Bhathal Everything around me is an inspiration.
Most recently, seeing and reading new books by authors I admire makes me want to write more, so I may be an inspiration to others too.
Ritu Bhathal The ideas for my poetry book came from life in general. Each verse relates to some part of my life, and some time within it.
