Emily Windsor Hi Laine, firstly thank you so much! I'm thrilled you enjoyed my latest book. And YES! Charlotte and Marcus' tale is up next. It was originally part of a Christmas Anthology that came out in 2023 (Christmas in Cumbria) but it will be re-released this November with bonus chapters, entitled 'A Governess Should Never... Wager a Duke'. It is a short novella based on 'A Christmas Carol'. ❤️ As to the Prince..... Now, the 'Governess Chronicles' Series is complete, I'm hopping back to 'A Lady to Suit' series and writing the last 2 books entitled 'The Earl of Spades' and 'The Prince of Clubs'. Both are due to be released next year. The Prince will be featured in the first book but then he gets his own tale in the last one. Apologies for the wait! Thank you so much for your kind words and happy reading, lots of love, Emily xxx
Emily Windsor I seem to have missed all questions on Goodreads so my profuse apologies, Jennifer! And one year later...
Yes! Kian will get his HEA in 'The Prince of Spades' which is due out Summer 2025!
Love Emily xxx
Emily Windsor Hi Laine, I can't believe I never saw your question! Many apologies, and one year later....
Scandalous Hugh's story is due out soon! On 11th April. ☺️
Love Emily xxx
Emily Windsor Hi Polly, sorry, I have only just discovered your question. I think GR was hiding it! ☺️
A few readers have asked the same and although Artemisia will be in 'The Prince of Clubs', I'm so sorry she won't be the love interest! 😌 I always imagined them as having more of an older grouchy brother / sister relationship. I hope you will still enjoy the series though. 😌
You'll be pleased to know, however, that Artemisia will definitely get her own story in the future! As will all the daughters in the 'Governess Chronicles' series.
Happy reading and many thanks for getting in touch,
lots of love, Emily xxx

Emily Windsor Hi SLW, I'm thrilled you are looking forward to the Prince's and Kian's stories!
My next release will be the tale of Lord Ernest Brook (the Duke of Rothwell's brother in 'The Duke of Diamonds') and Mrs Hebe Locke (we met her in 'Diamonds' as well) entitled 'The Rake of Hearts'.
Due out next year although apologies, I haven't got a date yet :(
No doubt, however, the Prince (and possibly Kian) will pop up in this story!
I'll keep everyone updated on Goodreads and Facebook!
Best wishes for this Christmas, sending love, Emily xxxxx
Emily Windsor I can do it one. Clowns.
Emily Windsor Hi Vickie, I'm so thrilled you enjoyed Jack and all his cohorts! Thank you! At the moment, I am letting everyone have a rest from the Rules of the Rogue, and I'm busy writing a new series - however Jack, Rakecombe and Bram may pop up in it from time to time! I also had a novella planned for Gabriel Stafford (from Let Sleeping Dukes Lie) so one day in the future, Jack is sure to trot out his rules again...aided by Tamsyn this time!
Thanks for getting in touch, lovely to hear from you, love Emily xxxx
Emily Windsor Hi Vickie,
thank you for getting in touch, and I'm so thrilled you enjoyed Bram and Sophie's story! You don't have to wait too long for the audio version of the Duke of Rakecombe and Aideen's tale (Let Sleeping Dukes Lie) as it's due for release on the 30th July.
Jack's story is currently scheduled a little later - mid September - but I'll keep my Goodreads blog and Facebook page updated with news and dates. Happy listening and reading, lovely to hear from you,
love Emily xxxxx
Emily Windsor Hi Mag, 'Marquess to a Flame' isn't available yet, I'm afraid! It should be ready for pre-order in early December. So sorry for the wait! I'll be posting the actual release date, snippets and blurb in November on Goodreads and my Facebook page. Thanks for getting in touch, Love Emily xx
Emily Windsor Hi L.R. Thanks for getting in touch, and I'm thrilled you're looking forward to Jack's story - it should be ready late September (entitled 'Marquess to a Flame') and I am an utter Regency romance fangirl myself!
My husband actually does the covers and we do try and match them to the actual story - I wanted the Duke of Rakecombe very moody so I hope I succeeded!!
Great to hear from you, love Emily xx
Emily Windsor Great idea, Jewel O.
Lord Oakdean and Cordelia were only supposed to play a small part in ‘Let Sleeping Dukes Lie’ but they did take on a life of their own! I especially adore Cordelia.
Once Jack’s love life is sorted out, I may well revisit them!

Emily Windsor Hi Jewel O,
I’m so happy you enjoyed my book – thank you!
I’m just writing Jack’s story today, (entitled ‘Marquess to a Flame’) and there is more about Jack in the other books, but he has strong classical features – a very handsome chap! Tall, with long black curls and dark devilish eyes, the rogue has a disarming smile and impeccable taste in clothing – although his waistcoats can be a little garish! He has a slender but muscular form and loves swordplay, elegant but with a hidden strength.
I hope this helps and I’m so glad you are enjoying the fearsome threesome.
Huge thanks for getting in touch and happy reading,
Love Emily xx
Emily Windsor Thanks, Edwina. I will certainly look into it as soon as Jack's story is released. I'd love to hear Irish Aideen and the Duke of Rakecombe bickering out loud!
Love, Emily x
Emily Windsor Hi Edwina,
I so thrilled you’re enjoying the series and thank you so much for the lovely reviews – they really do make my day (and month!)
Yes, Jack will get his story and it’s due out in September (all going well), entitled ‘Marquess to a Flame’. I’ll be keeping Facebook and Goodreads up to date with the release schedule.
Regarding audible – great idea – I hadn’t thought of that yet! I am planning on paperback copies later in the year but will add audible to my list of ‘To Do’.
Thanks for getting in touch and happy reading,
love Emily x
Emily Windsor Hi Annalice, that’s such a great idea!
Unfortunately, I already have some one special lined up for Lord ‘call me Jack’ Winterbourne, so I hope you'll enjoy that too. It will be entitled ‘Marquess to a Flame’ and will be available late summer.

Emily Windsor Hi Kathy,
Thanks for the question. The book is finished and currently at the editing stage. It took a little longer than I thought - Lucas Mainwaring is a complex man!
It will be released January and I hope you will enjoy it.
Thanks again for getting in touch
Emily

Emily Windsor I love to read and write about the Regency period in English history. I think it´s a very visually appealing era – the dresses, the balls/routs, and men in starched cravats; even the more disreputable side of London life has its own unsavoury appeal. Then, I usually daydream...a lot. Usually when I should be sleeping!
I love Pinterest, as you can gain real inspiration for the particular era you are writing for – whether it´s a picture of a empire dress, a hessian boot or an opium den! Art galleries and museums can also be very motivational.
