The scene I walk into when in Jamaica was horrifying as freezing temperatures in a hot July island hit me before I was slapped by unseen entities. I thought, get it together, June!, this can't be but it was as I was punched and pinched until finally screaming, "LEAVE ME ALONE!"

I have often wondered why this particular ability to know things about people and communicate with the dead happened to me? I was actually born with it and my serious accident brought it forth? Or, was it the accident that created this ability? That is my mystery to discover.

My mother was/is my inspiration. She was a great storyteller and lover of books, a poetess and writer herself although never published. I wanted to share with her. My first book though, a consumer's guide, was written because a friend said, "Write it down!" My first novel was written to honor my zany sisters.
