The only way this'll happe is if I cheat it in some way for a one-off short story as while Bunny fighting werewolves would be hilarious, it does rather blow up the rules of his world!
Caimh McDonnell
Absolutely, they appear in the new Novella Meanwhile in Dublin that'll featuring in a short fiction collection this year and they'll be back in their own novel at some point I'm sure.
Caimh McDonnell
Thanks a million. and yes, there will be more short stories on both sides of things. Watch this space!

Sorry mate, just seen this. Delighted you're enjoying the books. Yes - loads more Bunny, both in the Dublin Trilogy books and the spinoff McGarry Stateside series. And dont' worry, we do fine out of KU or else our books wouldn't be in there. As always for any author, if you'd like to help out, sticking up a review is always a big help. Cheers.

Sorry just seen this - thanks so much, delighted you're enjoying the books. The Dublin Trilogy/Bunny books can actually be read a couple of different ways. We break it down here: https://whitehairedirishman.shop/page...

Thanks a mill Don't worry, plenty more Bunny books coming. The next up with be a McGarry Stateside book and then there'll be yet more sequels to a prequel which will no doubt feature a bit of young Deccie here and there.

Thanks very much and absolutely! I just finished the fourth book in the series and it's gone to my editor - will be released hopefully Jan 2024. In the meantime, do check out the Stranger Times podcast for lots of ST short stories.

Hello! Sorry, just spotted your question. TBH, there are quite a few very fine actors who could fill the skeepskin with the necessary aplomb. I'Angus Macfadyen is a terrific actor most definitely but he might be a little short to play trhe big fella.

Hi Gwen,
chuffed to hear you're enjoying the books. I can confirm McGarry Stateside book 4 will be the next book I write after I complete the next Stranger Times book. So, barring disaster, it'll definitely be out next year. There will also be I'm guessing at least two more books in the series as they're some of my favourites to write. The pandemic scuppered the research necessary to write the book I was going to write but I've come up with a totally different story I'm really excited to tell. Basically, a bit like the Family Jewels, I had a short story/novella idea about something that happens while the guys are in transit, and my brain kept working on it without my consent, and it'll definitely be a novel now. I'm really looking foward to writing it and getting back onboard with Smithy and Diller.

Hi Michael,
Apologies for the slow response. To be honest, that might have been an error on my part - although I am tempted to claim it was a very subtle piece of satire!
As regards to the Matt Berry character - not really although I can see where you're coming from. The reality is there's probably quite a few 'nightmare bosses' characters that you can compare him too that appear in TV shows.
Thanks for the questions.

Ha. He certainly has an element of that I guess but Deccie is identifiably human without having to carry verifying paperwork. He's a little CMOT too.

Hi Sue,
Thanks for the question and apologies for the slow response- I was off on holidays. You can really read the prequel Angels in the Moonlight any time you like, as long as you read it before you read Last Orders as a lot of stuff that happened in angles comes back up in that. Enjoy and let me know if you've any other questions.

Hi Erika,
Apologies, I completely missed this question when you originally posted it. In answer to it - yep, how Morgan does Bunny in the audiobooks is a real Cork accent. It is pretty full-on one but then Bunny is pretty full-on! We do have one cracking review on Audible that says it is the worst Scottish accent they've ever heard, and, to be fair, if cork was in Scotland, then they'd have a good point! :)
