Thessa Lim Hi Sally. While the YA genre comprises of books where the main character is aged 12-18, NA's main character would be somewhere 18-25. It refers to that time in between YA and adult. There is also a popular notion that YA books with more mature content or gore fall under NA, but I prefer to stick to the definition by the MC's age. There are NA books that are considered sweet or clean reads, and some that would have explicit sexual content. I hope this helps!
Thessa Lim Rest, relax, and go somewhere with a view that you like. Or ride the train, enjoy the scenery, and observe people going about their daily things. Something will surely inspire you. Or talk to someone about what you're working on!
Thessa Lim I finally get to share moments that matter (to me), stories, lessons, and emotions with a wider audience. And I don't have to be there physically with them to achieve that. I'm there when they read.

Thessa Lim I'm currently working on marketing my first book. This takes a lot of effort, and its something I'm new to. I'm hoping to get the book out to as many markets as possible.
Thessa Lim I'm always inspired to write. If I could write most days, I'd be very happy. I'm very excited to write the four succeeding books in the series. The second book is almost done and should be out by summer of 2017. Book III should be out by the end of next year.
Thessa Lim I've always wanted to write about women in a way that encourages. When I read books that were parts of series, I suddenly got the idea of writing about a group of women. And then, the Of Heads and Hearts series was born. Some stories in my first book, Of Heads and Hearts in the Metro, are inspired by events that happened to me, to family, or to friends. And some I heard are stories of friends of friends. Though these stories are of course skewed in order to suit fiction. The four female characters are composites of women I know and admire.
