As a writer of suspense, I've always found stories of families who've believed their young children are reincarnated--or channeling the dead--eerily fascinating. I've read many, many accounts, wondering all the while how a level-headed, logic-oriented woman like myself (most days!) would deal with having a small child suddenly claim to have been murdered.
