Paul Shore Hi Milli. It sure is... I mailed books to all the winners the very day after I was sent the list from Goodreads. If you are in Europe, it should get to you any day now. let me know if doesn't arrive by the end of March and I'll mail another.

Paul Shore Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer... in a word "adventure".

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Paul Shore I put down my writing for a while, but I don't let it slip completely from my mind. Within a few days or weeks, I feel energized to get back at it.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Paul Shore It feels healthy... the mental challenge is good for the brain and the soul.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Paul Shore Why not try?! Don't listen to naysayers, just get going... and eventually start sharing a partial draft with a few people who know about writing/publishing to get their feedback and advice. Too often we pass up the chance to do something new that we just might be pretty good at!

How do you get inspired to write?
Paul Shore By being encouraged by friends, and by feeling that I have compelling material pent up that I need to capture by writing.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Paul Shore My year living in Saint-Paul de Vence was so rich with fun, quirky, warm stories that I felt compelled to make notes on a flight home after a return visit a couple years later, just in case I decided to write a book someday. Friends and family, who I'd share stories with over many years, encouraged me to write, so 15 years later I finally began to.
