No plans yet! I'd love to continue the story of Jen and her crazy family but right now I'm trying to write something completely different...a story about a missing child in the 1970's. Not as much fun as a Class Mom book thats for sure. After this I think I'll want to get back into Jen's head for a while.

I'm comfortable with the word novel, but a lot of Jen's life does come from my own - especially her experiences as the sandwich generation. My condolences in having to ever go to a PAC meeting that isn't run by Jen Dixon!

Hi Katie! Thats so nice to hear! Right now I have no plans to write one but I did the last two so quickly and back to back that Jen and I need to see other people for a while! If and when I do write, Max will be starting high school and Jen will be a grandmother of two, still teaching spin and possibly managing Kay's assisted living facility. I think she needs to bring her snarky emails to the older generation. Stay tuned! xo

Thank you so so much! I love writing them - working on the fourth one now. Max is in middle school - fun fun fun!

I can't tell if you're kidding. It was one of my big mistakes in the first book for sure.

I'm writing the fourth one now! Jen in middle school with a 13 year old is pretty hilarious! Thanks for asking!

Sadly, the recipe doesn't exist but I am trying to create one with my friend who owns a bakery. You are definitely not the only person to have asked!

I'm currently working on two books - the sequel to Class Mom and a more serious story about a 10 year old latch key kid in the 1970's.

Don't think about it too much. Just vomit your thoughts out onto the page. The magic comes in the re-writing.

I think it would be easier to answer what is the worst things about being an author. But the best thing? Probably making your own schedule and the sense of accomplishment as you see the pages pile up.

If I'm blocked I walk away for a good week, then come back and re-read my entire manuscript. That usually unblocks me.

I'm playing a bit of catch up so I'm planning to read The Underground Railroad and I'd like to read Paula Hawkins latest Into The Water.
