Suzanne Young For seniors it's 1984 and Frankenstein
10th-The Great Gatsby & Wuthering Heights
8th-The Giver and The Outsiders

We don't read my books, but I keep an extensive library of YA titles for them to borrow :)
Suzanne Young Thank you for your questions. The Program books are about the consequences of not talking about/not sharing your feelings. The danger IS The Program, which they all soon realize in the series. It's about the "good intentions" and how they are far more harmful in an attempt at a fast fix.

Suicidal clusters are sadly real and take place throughout the world. There is speculation, but no one knows why these clusters happen. It's a behavioral contagion rather than viral. But the hope is that talking about suicidal thoughts and seeking help would help prevent outbreaks of these clusters.

Again, thank you for your questions.
Suzanne Young The Remedy is a novel. It's the first in a set of two books that take place before The Program.

The Program (Book 1)
The Treatment (Book 2)
The Recovery (ebook novella 2.5)

The Remedy (Book 1)
The Epidemic (Book 2)

coming soon
The Adjustment (Book 1)
The Complication (Book 2)

Hope that helps!
Suzanne Young It will be a full-length novel next year. :)
Suzanne Young Personally, I like to read it:

The Program
The Treatment

The Remedy
The Epidemic

I think you get more out of the prequels if you know how the world ends up :)
Suzanne Young Sadly, it's just an e-novella. Sorry about that.
Suzanne Young I've been writing since I was in middle school. I've always wanted to write. Even when people laughed because it seemed like such an unrealistic career path.
Suzanne Young That there is hope at the end of the story. That Sloane can fight her way through darkness and fear, and in the end, finally learn to swim at the river that terrified her.
Suzanne Young The Adjustment will a new story set in the world after The Program. Like The Remedy, it has new characters.
Suzanne Young There is an ebook called A Desire so Deadly that finishes the story :)
Suzanne Young Not yet! But I'm keeping my fingers crossed :)
Suzanne Young Yes--sort of. The series goes like this:

THE PROGRAM
THE TREATMENT
Short story: The Recovery

Prequel with new characters
THE REMEDY
THE EPIDEMIC (April 2016)
This question contains spoilers... (view spoiler)
Suzanne Young I'd like to write one more short story about them. They need to come to terms with the fact that although they love each other, the relationship has changed (matured, in my opinion). They still have a struggle, but... I mean... they obviously end up together :)
Suzanne Young It was actually based on a woman I met when a family member was sick. I was scared and alone, and this woman--a stranger--came up to me in a store. She put her hand on my arm and told me that I would all right. That I wasn't alone. And that I needed to get home and be with my loved one in that instant.

I turned around and walked out of the store, feeling comforted and stronger. Years later, she was my inspiration for the Forgotten in the book. Because thinking back on it, I didn't see her talk to anyone else. And I almost wondered if she was my guardian angel. :)
Suzanne Young I'm not sure yet. Maybe... :) There is a Realm short story. I'd like there to be James short story, as well.
