Vaguely. Each of the short stories are self-contained “Bleed Zone” missions that happen before, during, and after the novel. They don’t have to be read in any particular order. Thanks!
To go further, in the novel itself, a struggle over who will control interdimensional technology comes to a head. Before the novel even starts, the technology has been abused, and shockwaves are reverberating across the multiverse, causing weird Bleed Zone problems. A loose collection of test drivers and explorers get stuck with the job of fixing these problems, WHATEVER they turn out to be, and one of the test drivers has given the group the nickname the Thrill Kings.
So far, “The Size Of Minneapolis Upright” is the most basic “Bleed Zone" story, “The Gray Walls” is the most classically structured thriller, and “The Shaftway” is the weirdest of the bunch. Depending on what mood you are in, you might start with any of them (and I hope you do - THANK YOU!).

I'm thrilled that you are enjoying it! Thank you. Motorcycles? I love them, but can't afford them (in time or money) - have to skip. I did ride a moped through the woods one night - that was a blast, and I've had a few heart-racing subway trips, but that's about it for thrill-rides!
