I was researching professional video game teams for sponsorship at work, when I thought about the fact that pro video gamers aren't common love interests in contemporary romance. Then I really started thinking about it. And the idea festered a bit until I decided that I had to write a story featuring one. When I created Dex's team, a few of them jumped up and said, I want my own story too! So following Dex's story, Simon, Link, and Bernadette will have their story told as well.
