What is the connection between PLAYING WITH FIRE and BURNT BY THE FLAME?

Sharon Robards 'Playing with Fire' is the backstory of 'Burnt by the Flame' and was too large to put in as a prologue.

Port Stephens .... wasn't there a movie that was based in that city? Sounds like I would enjoy your book. Will try to find a map of Australia to look where you are.

Sharon Robards I Elizabeth, I haven't heard of any moves, though they have made some tourist ads close by. Port Stephens isn't a city as such. Our closest city is Newcastle. Port Stephens is a rural/country area made of small inland and coastal towns. The link below is to Port Stephens web site. I am in place called Nelson Bay.

Hi, Sharon--I know this is a strange way to contact you. But anyway, I'm writing a book set in Australia in about 1814-15, and I love the research you have done for A Woman Transported. Any advice for where I can go to find a great map, info about the time period? And really, I love the book. Thanks Jennifer Moore

I am a little in awe and very flattered to have received your message. I’m glad you enjoyed A Woman Transported.

Some of A Woman Transported sections were written, thirty years ago, especially the sections regarding Campbelltown. Sadly, I never kept a record of all the books I read. Mostly non-fiction and directly related to Sydney, Campbelltown, and aboriginal culture. The English section was mostly researched using google to take me where ever it went LOL

I did read most of The Australian Series by William Stuart Long (Vivian Stuart)
