The book's inspiration came from my journey with cancer, having been diagnosed in 2009. My hope is to offer strength, hope and comfort for those who may encounter a similar challenge in their lives. I have used many baseball analogies to explain my thoughts and emotions as well as strategies to implement when coping with cancer. Each reflection is followed by an encouraging attitude, a spiritual insight and a step to consider.
