Gary B. Meisner Most of my inspiration comes from some new information that intrigues me. I have had times though where it just seemed like the words just wanted to flow through me, and that I was just the scribe typing as fast as I could to keep up.
Gary B. Meisner Since my writing is a result of a topic of great interest to me, and since I do it as avocation, I've not faced the typical author challenge of "writer's block." I typically just write when some new story or idea comes to mind. If I do hit a block though, I often just ask in thought or prayer for the answer to come to me, sleep on it and find I have the solution in the morning.
Gary B. Meisner My advice to aspiring writers is to find a topic that just fascinates you and then start writing about it, and keep writing about it. That's what led to my first book. I created a website at www.goldennumber.net on the golden ratio and it took on a life of its own with millions of visitors contributing new ideas and challenging me to continue my own research. It's been a very interesting journey because the golden ratio touches so many different disciplines and areas of life, and I've met a wide range of people in the process. So write, write some more and let it take you along.
Gary B. Meisner The best thing about being a writer is being able to touch other people's lives with experiences and knowledge that have meant the most in my own life, and forming new connections and friendships in the process.
Gary B. Meisner I'm working on promotion for my new book, making updates to my website at www.goldennumber.net and planning for a new release of my software at www.phimatrix.com.
Gary B. Meisner The book is the result of a fascination with the golden ratio that has been with me for many years. I did a simple website on the topic in the late 1990's and the site took on a life of its own. As annual traffic grew to over one million visitors, it became a constant source of new information, ongoing research and friendships. I was approached by my publisher asking if I'd like to do a book on the topic with them.
