I am passionate about the subject matter. The story of the opiate epidemic and what has been allowed to continue to flourish the prescribing of opiates must be known. This absolutely does affect everyone. The NICU babies whose cost is on average $900,000 vs a normal newborn delivery could certainly help us to end the national debt. And the plight of these innocent babies that many end up in foster care or with care takers that have an addiction.

I am the founder of STOPPNow (Stop the Organized Pill Pushers) Now. The drug addicted babies I was caring for as a neonatal intensive care nurse alerted me to the opiate epidemic. Broward County Florida which is where I live and work is the epicenter of the opiate epidemic. I couldn't walk away. I finally realized I must write the book STOPPNow to share exactly what has been happening in our communities due to corruption and greed.
