Take a break and don't push yourself. I struggled quite often with WB and I found that listening to music, reading other books in the same genre to your book and taking a breather did the world of good. Take your time, slow and steady wins the race.

The obvious answer is turning a hobby into something you can share with others but for me, the best thing is hearing someone say they enjoyed the book and talk about the characters/moments. There is no other feeling in the world.

Nothing at the moment as I felt I deserved a little break but there are lots of ideas beginning to form, including a possible second book to 'The Sharp Knife of a Short Life'.

I was actually inspired by the passing of my grandad, who sadly passed away from AML 5 years ago. From there, I just began to piece the story together.
