It's nice to meet you here on Goodreads, I have another friend who writes much the same way, it's all in his head until he starts to write. So if this is the case, how do you do research?
Mark Shaw I'm the same as well. I constantly envision scenes from the book, play out in my head, almost like a movie. For me the research comes while it's still in my head, because although it's fictional, i still wanna make sure whatever can be factual will be factual, where you have history tied into your story.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Mark Shaw When i was a kid ,i used to have this stick that reminded me of what Moses had in the ten commandments. And when their was i storm outside ,i would put on a cape and act as if i was controlling the wind with the stick. Year later i wondered what ever happened to that stick, which lead me to write this book.

Are you a heavy outliner, a "pantser" or a little bit of both when it comes to plotting your stories?
Mark Shaw This one i didn't know how to answer.I dont know what "pantser" means. I'll just say this, When i write, the story plays out in my head like a movie. I see it that way, and write it.

Mark Shaw Dont do things just because everyone else is doing it. Come up with new ideas and ways to stand out.

What are you currently working on?
Mark Shaw I'm working on two books. The second book in my Keeper Of The Wind trilogy and a totally different book called Da'gino.

Mark: You unselfishly devote a lot of time and energy to promoting other authors' books. What was your inspiration for the IndieBookBeSeen program?
Mark Shaw I understand that the chances of most of us succeeding at this individually are slim, and that if we come together as a force, all of our chances are better. I also do not believe that everyone has to follow the same process of promoting their books.I think you'll get lost in the shuffle. The only way to stand out ,is to stand out!
