Write. A lot. For pleasure. Don't get invested in the outcome. Success is a crapshoot, you have to enjoy the process. You can't decide to write a bestseller. You have to write what you want to write and hope that readers make it a bestseller.

Ask any author and they'll probably tell you that after the fun of writing a book comes the hard work of selling the book. Introverts in Love is only a month old, so I am in the heat of promoting it. (Exhausting for an introvert!) And I'm trying to decide what my next project should be. Suggestions?

For the most part...bills. Not very sexy but the truth. Although I am trying to get back to the writing I do for love alone. Some day I hope to publish a novel.

I've been writing about introversion since 2007 and I get a lot of questions from both introverts and extroverts about relationships. After all, introversion exists primarily in relation to other people. If we didn't have to interact, would we know how exhausting it can be? So a book about relationships--especially love relationships--was almost a no-brainer.
