The wife placed flowers upon her husband's grave, patting the earth gently. The husband pounded his fists against the coffin's lid.

One thing I've found helpful is to not worry too much about getting some perfect paragraphs down straight off the bat. Let your fingers flow when they can, take a break when they don't. Keep going back to what you've written and hammer away at it. Or chisel away, might be a better image. Your book will take shape if you keep at it. When you can't seem to type anything decent, grab a pencil and notebook and get away from the computer (coffee shop, park etc.). I often find I can write something reasonable (in my exceedingly bad handwriting) and then type it up the next day. Good luck with it!
