I'm so glad to hear that, thank you!! I have a section about query letters on my website, with several resources and suggestions! I also highly suggest Susan Dennard's website. Best of luck to you with your writing!

Thank you for reading! Yes, Amora's story was always meant to be a duology :) That's how I sold it!

To be honest, I just have to force it. If I'm drafting a new project, I fast draft at least 2k every day until it's done. If I'm editing, it's just butt in chair until what I need to work on that day is done. I don't actually believe in inspiration or writer's block! But what works for me will most certainly not work for everyone, and I encourage everyone to find their own method of working :)

I feel like I've always had the opportunity to work in creative fields! I started off working in theater when I was in high school, then worked in animation on the show The Legend of Korra after college. I'd probably go back to animation if I wasn't writing :)

One of my works in progress is actually a stand alone! I do really love writing big universes though, and that tends to fit a little bit better with writing a series.

Thank you! I feel that the title really symbolizes the overall story. It's a little weird and a little dark, but also (in my opinion) very pretty! I created the title to fit the adventure that exists in this story, and I think that readers should be able to understand it better as they follow Amora along her journey :)
