Michelle Geel My second book, Crimson Tide, is coming out next month! Keep your eyes peeled.

Currently, I'm working on a second chances, erotic romance novel.

'Preston Marsh is perfection. Always was, always will be. We had the perfect life, love, marriage ... until I decided I wanted more.

Once upon a time I’d been the princess in the fable, aptly blinded by my love for the man I’d thought my prince Charming. I shan’t deny he was, I suppose in every wonderful way that made him all that to me. We were infatuated with each other and so in sync right from the start, that we’d never bothered discussing our futures in-depth. We were young and deliriously happy, having exactly what we wanted—each other.

There’s a damn good reason why grand tales end right after 'I do'. Too soon the fairy-dust settles and hard reality comes a’knocking. Things change. People evolve. Little did I know that the instant I decided I wanted more, Fate wrote ‘The End’ on our story, long before we got to the happily ever after.

As it turned out, Preston was still prince Charming. I was just the wrong princess for him.'
Michelle Geel Gosh, I can't even remember. As noted, I'm an oddball. I have an entire file filled with notes and ideas. And although I have no 'official' psychic abilities, I do suffer instances where, out of the blue, two characters would pop up and incessantly harangue me until I write their story.

Therefore, the one who screams loudest, gets their tale told. :-)
Michelle Geel I think the most suggested advice is write, write, write. If you have nothing on paper, there's nothing to edit.

Sure, there's some truth to that, but I've found that I combat writer's block by taking a break and reading books (usually a new-to-me author).
Michelle Geel Penning the character's stories down. Meeting/interacting with readers.
Michelle Geel Do what your heart tells you, follow what your characters tell you. Your readers want the real you between the pages, not some version of what you think people want to read.
