The Nike creed works for me - Just do it! Just write. Stop the excuses. I've heard them all. I've given them all. Just write. Draw from deep inside yourself and if this is what you were meant to be, then listen to that calling. Just write.

Currently, I am working on several novels. This is the way it always goes for me. I start one, then decide I NEED to write this other thing, and get going on that one and then something else comes along and so it goes. But what I'm trying to finish right now is my first Christmas romance. I'd like to finish it before Christmas.

I think a better question for me would be, "How do you not get inspired to write?" Because, for me, I get inspiration everywhere, all day, all night, including: vacuuming, showering, walking, breathing. It's not a question of how, it's a question of how to turn it off! My mind constantly goes here: What if... I could be innocently a game show on TV and I think, what if the two losing contestants ran into each other at a bar afterward. What would happen? And what if, while they were talking, they suspect some grand plot the show had to rig it against them. Was that third contestant really part of the crew? The two of them exchange phone numbers and when contestant number 1 tries to contact the second, discovers he's been killed. These are the things that just spiral constantly and my question is, how do I take a break from it?
