As far back as I can remember, I've always enjoyed different levels of expressive art. In high school, I enjoyed writing and reading poetry, and consuming the occasional book.
A few years ago I had an idea for a book premise and decided to give it a go. It resulted in an unedited version that I self-published. I've since had the book edited twice and had my wife recreate a cover for me (Title - Given a Second Chance).

I'm currently working on a series of crime/detective novels. I'm halfway through the first book and am enjoying getting to know my main character, Ransom Walsh.
My interest in these types of novels is very much directed by my 23 years of working in law enforcement. I'm proudly retired now and putting some of these memories to good use.
