Geetika Saigal My own life.

For a change, I'm not going to write a long answer :) You'll have to read the book to figure this one out. Ahem! :)
Geetika Saigal To be honest, I don't get inspired to write. I write because I simply have to.

In turn, my writing inspires me.

It reminds me of who I am, and what I want to do with my life. It gives me purpose and brings meaning to my life.

No, it doesn't give me happiness all of the time. On the contrary, it drives me many a time to practically tear my hair out and bang my head against the wall! But hey, at the end of the day, it drives me, fuels me and rewards me with a sense of accomplishment which is not measured by book sales and royalty.

It takes me to places I may never have been to, build people who may be just a figment of my imagination, and share truths of life that I may have experienced over a lifetime, in just a few sentences.

Writing inspires me; I can only hope that reading it will inspire you.
Geetika Saigal I've recently come out with my Debut Book. Currently, my sole purpose driving me day and night, is to reach out to YOU.

Hence I want the book to reach as many readers as possible and for myself to connect with each and everyone who so wishes to.
I believe this book is for everyone, whether you are just starting out your life or wishing to change/better it...and hence I want to share my thoughts with all potential readers :)
Geetika Saigal It's Time! (yet again, Spoiler Alert - Chapter 1, Finding Your G-Spot)
"We die with every breath we take; yet every breath you take is testimony that you are alive....In a 100 years from now, everyone you know will be dead, ...So I say, use your limited time on this planet wisely...
Do not procrastinate…coz somewhere between growing up and growing old, we get lost...
Be careful what you trade your time for; it’s actually your life you are trading with."
Yeah, there’s no better time - Make this your time, your day.
Don't just aspire. Be.
Geetika Saigal One of my pet phrases about me is that 'The best conversations I have are with myself!'
Writing to me is a way linking the world I live in to the world that lives inside of me.
It gives me a sense of being one with with all the noise outside and the zillion thoughts that pop up within.
In a sense, writing completes me. It calms me and invigorates me at the same time. It gets my creative juices flowing and yet it calm inner self by channelising them to their right shape and above - my diary and my laptop!
Jerry Maguire needed Dorothy to complete him :)
as does Geetika Saigal her Writing.
Geetika Saigal I believe many a time in life it's essential to take a step back in order to move ahead.
Writer's block for me personally is a signal that my mind is cluttered with too many thoughts and possibly stress.
Usually the 'Shower Power' Excercise works for me! (Spoiler Alert - Chapter 11, Finding Your G-Spot)... essentially, the trick is to Cut the Crap from your head, so you make space for fresher thoughts to enter your mind naturally.
